The German Professor will perform the surgical procedures in the Children’s Health Center

The German professor, doctor of medicine, Dietrich von Schweinitz will visit the Children’s Health Center of New Hospitals from the University Hospital of Munich and will perform the surgical procedures. The doctor Schweinitz is the professor of the Munich University. He has gained 40 years of professional experience in the leading University Hospitals of the Germany and Switzerland. He is currently leading the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Munich University Hospital.

In March 2019, the Memorandum of 5-Year Cooperation was signed between the New Hospital and the University Hospital of Munich within the framework of which the professor Schweinitz will visit the New Hospitals; also, the pediatric surgeons of the New Hospitals will pay visit to the Children Center of the University Hospital of Munich for professional development.

Within the framework of a mutual collaboration, other doctors from the University Hospital of Munich will also visit New Hospitals. The doctors will participate in the conferences, lectures, seminars and workshops, which will facilitate sharing of novelties and achievements of the German medicine to the Georgian counterparts.
