International Conference Organized by New Hospitals and Georgian Association for Ophthalmology Advancement (GAOA) Was Held

On December 2, thanks to the efforts and contributions of New Hospitals and the Georgian Association for Ophthalmology Advancement the 3rd International Scientific-Practical Conference was held with several topical reports.

Within the conference framework, Georgian and foreign ophthalmologists spoke about the challenges in this field and modern treatment approaches. The event was opened by Professor Iva Beradze, ophthalmologist of the National Center of Ophthalmology and Professor Oleg Golovachov,  ophthalmologist of
the National Center of Ophthalmology, President of the Georgian Association for Ophthalmology Advancement.

The 3rd International Scientific-Practical Conference was dedicated to the 95th  anniversary of Prof. Jimsher Antelava, the founder of microsurgery methods in Georgia. The conference held by the Georgian Association for Ophthalmology Advancement, is traditionally distinguished by interesting scientific meetings, it includes reports of leading ophthalmologists and is a unique platform for knowledge exchange.
