Presentation of “New Hospitals” Children's Health Center was held
Presentation of the Children's Health Center was held at “New Hospitals.” The guests visited the Pediatric Clinic of European standards and got familiar with the existing services. The center is located in the prestigious district of Tbilisi - Krtsanisi Street and is located in the newly-built building of the hospital.
In the new building, which will be opened on March 18, besides the Children's Health Center Cardio-Surgical Division, Extended Department of Neurology and Neuro-rehabilitation and Orthopedic Traumatology Center will be operated in a renewed format. From April, bone marrow transplantation center will start functioning at “New Hospitals” as well.
Children's Health Center, which is unprecedented with the quality of infrastructure and service, will provide the best pediatric services to the patients within 24 hours. The center is staffed by the leading specialists of the field, and it will be headed by David Tsibadze, Doctor of Medicine, a specialist having long-term experience in children's emergency medicine. Children's critical and urgent medicine center as well as children's orthopedic, cardiology, neurosurgical, hematological and laparoscopic surgery directions, will start functioning at “New Hospitals” within the framework of full pediatric care.
The physicians of the leading clinics of the world participated in the opening of the Children's Health Center and improving the healthcare services. The delegation of the US major hospital “Mayo Clinic,” has conducted a cycle of training meetings to the medical staff “New Hospitals.” The basis was formed for the cooperation with the German Kaiser Pediatric Clinic, as a result of which Georgian physicians undertook an internship in Germany. A Memorandum of cooperation was signed with the French advanced clinic - "Central Hospital of Arpajon," in the framework of which the physicians of the Children's Health Center left for France to raise their qualifications and French specialists will visit “New Hospitals.” The purpose of this cooperation is to introduce the achievements in European and American medicine in the Children's Health Center and to provide the best pediatric services for patients.
