Children Emergency Care
The Emergency Department of the Child Health Centre has 12 observation beds and four shock treatment beds. It is intended for patients aged from 29 days to 18 years, with somatic and surgical diseases, acute trauma and intoxication. Patients can be referred to the department 24 hours a day, either on their own or via the ambulance service.
The children's emergency department is equipped with cutting-edge technology:

In the emergency department, a wide team of consultants - surgeon, trauma surgeon, neurosurgeon, neurologist, otorhinolaryngologist, ophthalmologist, gynecologist, rabiologist, maxillofacial surgeon, infection therapist, gastroenterologist and endoscopist, provide multidisciplinary care. Exclusive services are available 24 hours a day, in particular ophthalmological, otorhinolaryngological and gynecological care.
The patient is managed within a few hours and is discharged home or transferred to an inpatient unit. Upon discharge, the patient's parent receives detailed instructions for managing the child at home and the necessary advice. There is also a telephone hotline that parents can use to get medical advice in an emergency. In the emergency department of the Children's Health Centre, maximum attention is given to creating a comfortable environment for the patient, such as the presence of parents during manipulation and their unrestricted access to the patient. Priority is given to psychosocial support for the patient, pain-free procedures such as venous catheterization wound care and treatment of minor injuries, for which protocols for procedural sedation and analgesia have been developed and tested in modern, world-leading clinics.
